Hi All,
As we approach the halfway mark of the football season the count down until the start of the cricket season begins. On Saturday, 24 July we will be getting things started with a Marquee at the football from 1:30, there will be a BBQ and beers/soft drinks available. If you handed in your 'Leave Pass' back to the wife or girlfriend at seasons end it's time to get it back out so that you can catch up with all your mates to talk about what could have been last season and what will be this season.
There are already a number of new players who have indicated there intentions to play next season and this is a great opportunity to introduce them to the club and let them know what a great bunch of blokes we have. If you have some mates you are trying to get down to the club them bring them along so that we can help get them across the line.
Pre-season training will begin mid July and the schedule will be finished shortly so keep your eye out for this and put the dates into you calendar as soon as it arrives. With five of out seven senior sides making the finals last season and some strong recruiting over the off season competition for spots is going to be strong as we strive for the ultimate success.
